Why iodine, inside?
Running low without knowing it
Your thyroid is the body's master hormone gland, and iodine is the one mineral it can't work without. Modern diets deliver less of it than ever.
Your thyroid runs on it
Thyroid hormones influence metabolism, brain function, and immune health. Making them uses up your iodine every single day, so what gets used has to be replaced.
Modern diets deliver less of it
Public health bodies including the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements and the World Health Organization publish reference intakes for adults. With less seafood, less iodised salt and more processed food on the plate, dietary iodine has fallen across North America.
Low and slow, not loud
Iodine shortfall doesn't announce itself. It quietly drags on energy, focus, and how you feel day to day, which is why it's one of the most overlooked essentials.

Iodine Total Health — a first-of-its-kind aqueous iodine
Pure iodine is notoriously hard to stabilize, so most companies bind it with alcohols or synthetic carriers. Ours is combined with distilled water through a proprietary process your body can easily absorb, with nothing else added.
Water, not alcohol
A true aqueous solution: iodine stabilized in distilled water with no alcohol carriers and no synthetic stabilizers. The same two-ingredient philosophy as everything we make.
From caliche ore, Atacama
Mined in the deserts of southern Chile and refined through a three-step process into a stable, easily absorbed solution. It's the same trusted iodine source since the 1800s.
One mineral, two ingredients
The same pure aqueous iodine and distilled water behind everything we make. Iodine has been trusted on and in the body since the 1800s. Full product details, including how it is used, will be published when it launches.
Made to keep
GMP manufactured in North America with a 3-year shelf life. Available in 125ml and 500ml at launch.

Questions
Common questions
What is Iodine Total Health?
A pure aqueous iodine made the same way as the rest of our range, formulated for whole-body use rather than topical use. It has not launched and is not for sale yet. Join the waitlist to be first in line, and to see the full details when it is released.
Why does the body need iodine at all?
The thyroid uses iodine to make the hormones that influence metabolism, growth and brain function, and it is one of the minerals the body cannot produce for itself, so it has to come from the diet. Reference intakes for adults are published by the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements and by Health Canada. We do not publish intake advice of our own. Ask your healthcare provider what is right for you.
Where is it sourced from?
From caliche ore mined in the deserts of southern Chile, one of the world's richest natural iodine deposits. It's refined through a three-step process into a stable solution of iodine in distilled water, GMP manufactured in North America, with a 3-year shelf life.
Is it safe during pregnancy or with medication?
Iodine is especially important during pregnancy for fetal brain development, but always consult your healthcare provider for personal guidance. If you take thyroid medication, check with your practitioner before starting. Pairing iodine with selenium-rich foods is a smart habit.
What are the symptoms of iodine deficiency?
Commonly discussed signs include low energy, feeling cold easily, brain fog, dry skin, and in more advanced cases an enlarged thyroid. These symptoms overlap with many other conditions, so the only way to know is to ask your healthcare provider about testing.
How do you test for iodine deficiency?
A urine iodine test through your healthcare provider is the reliable way, since most of the iodine you consume leaves through urine. The popular skin patch test you see online is not considered accurate. If you suspect you are low, ask your provider before supplementing heavily.
What should I look for in an iodine supplement?
Look at the form and the ingredient list. Many products bind iodine with alcohol carriers or deliver it in bound forms your body has to work around. Iodine Total Health is pure elemental iodine stabilized in distilled water, with nothing else added, so it is simple to absorb and simple to trust.
